A lovely vintage David Sharp Pottery, Rye, Sussex, handmade pottery long bowl.

Circa 1970s.

Typically David, with the wax resist technique and duck egg blue/green wash.
Browny beige stars inside and stripes to the rim revealing matt raw pottery below.
Glazed light teal glossy glaze.
Long, oval, rounded and slim – ideal for pens,TV remotes, phones etc.

4 little feet below and fully hand signed to the base.

28.5cm long x 11 x 4.5cm tall.

Good with no chips, any raw bits of clay are deliberate and part of the technique.
Crazing underneath out of sight.
Displays very well, a nice piece.
