A retro 1970s Portmeirion Pottery ceramic mug.
It’s to celebrate Pisces, a sign of the Zodiac, February 20th – March 20th.
Designed by John Cuffley and from a series of Zodiac mugs – 12 to collect.
Over a 1960s/1970s Portmeirion shape matt black mug/cup, with knobbly handle.
Gold stylised print and text on matte black glaze.
10.5 cm tall. 7.8cm wide – standard mug size.
Looks good and displays very well. No chips.
Print looks good with good gold shine. See pics.
Some thinner areas of the black glaze.
Being a vintage mug it’s not ideal for use, more for a shelf.
