Description
A lovely modernist art glass vase by Kastrup/Holmegaard, Denmark.
Designed by Per Lutken this dates from apx 1952 to 1974 – a mid century modern piece.
Carefully controlled bubbles, very neat towards the base, stretched towards the pulled rim.
Rim is pulled and narrow and beak style.
It’s a very large 12 inch version of the vintage design in Peach (light amber orange).
31.5cm tall x 9cm widest.
Used with no chips.
If you look very hard there may be signs of age with small scratches.
Flat polished base with signs of age.
Great colour with solid base.
1.47 kg.
Photo’ed in dull winter light – it’s a lovely colour.
