A vintage and rather large shallow flat centrepiece serving plate, by Rorstrand, Sweden.
Designed by Louise Adelborg, this is similar to the Grace design, but different.
I can’t find another like it with this pattern.
Circa 1960s vintage (Adelborg died in 1971).
The white glazed ceramic plate has a central blue and metallic gold (gold leaf?) design.
The design is a bunch of stylised flowers and leaves tied with a bow.
The plate has a fine textured pattern in the white, like a herringbone.
A large 12″ diameter. Perfect for a cheese or fruit platter if used.
Good vintage condition. Okay on display.
Unfortunately it has crazing all over.
Some tiny nibbles and dots of missing glaze along the outer rim.
