A lovely vintage West German pottery ceramic art jug/vase, probably from the 1950s-1960s era.
By Jasba Keramik, model no 218/18 – 18 denoting 18cm tall.
Brown glossy liquid glaze with yellow and duck egg blue stripes, all liquid and bleeding, with a splash of orange.
Gold trim to the rim and handle. Smooth and glossy.
Very good condition.
Has the right ring to it.
A very very fine invisible hairline inside the rim area.
Some wear to the gold.
17.5cm x 12cm wide at the belly, 7cm rim.
Typical West German shape and 1950s retro decor.
