Description

A lovely studio art pottery jug or vase by David T Sharp from Rye, Sussex.

Handmade, thrown on a wheel, and hand decorated. Bulbous rounded shape, good size.

Typical of David’s palette – muted browns and beiges and white.
Hand painted brown stripes and a white zig-zag – probably drawn with wax.
Circa 1970s vintage.
Pinched rim so there’s a spout for pouring.

Sticker to the base.
Very good with no crazing.
Natural white clay base.
Clean inside and water tight, likely unused.

11.5cm tall x (8x8cm rim) and 9.5cm max width.
