Description

A lovely vintage Lotus Pottery bowl or dish, designed by Michael and Elizabeth Skipworth in the 1960s. Circa 1960/1970s vintage, handmade studio pottery.

It’s a small wheel thrown dish with their distinctive daisy flower motif to the centre. Dark olive/sage green (virtually black) with a blue grey speckled daisy motif… the classic ‘Petal on Sage’ colourway I believe. It is stamped to the base with the ‘LP’ logo within a circle (hard to make out). Beautiful smooth glossy glaze, typically 1970s retro.

Small, and a more unusual shape – 4cm tall x 11cm.

Very good condition.
