Description
A super set of six retro drinks coasters.
Likely vintage 1980s, these are by GWS (Oy G. W. Sohlberg Ab.) and are made in Finland.
Made for the British market so just labelled ‘foreign’.
Each mat depicts a different mixed cocktail, to the reverse is its name and recipe with (old school) measures.
We have Bacardi, Manhattan, White Lady, Gin Fizz, Singapore Sling, Paradise, Bloody Mary, Grasshopper and Old fashioned.
The coasters are flat and round with a small lip.
Black with retro prints.
Each one is 8cm x 6mm high – quite petite and perfect for a mid century/retro home bar.
Flat inners are about 7.3cm wide (please check they suit your glasses).
Good condition coasters with some crackling to the lacquer on each.
Bottom right one has some rust.
A bit of 80s fun for the home bar.
