Description
A pair of Art Nouveau era glass perfume bottles with silver overlay.
The taller one is marked very faintly to the bottom silver line with ‘sterling silver P15’, the other is marked ‘D1859’ and I would assume it’s also silver.
Unknown makers and origin, circa 1900-1920s.
The silver is hand finished with swirly foliate designs – these all seem to be different.
The taller one has a stopper.
Shorter – 7.3cm tall.
Taller – 9.5cm, 11.5cm tall with stopper.
Good vintage condition.
Clear glass is good, as per the photos. Some debris in the taller one.
Stopper has a chunk missing off the inside end, see pics.
They display well.
I don’t know any more about them, hopefully you know more and can recognise the stamps/designs.
