Description
A fab vintage ‘olives’ glass vase.
It’s Czech/Bohemian and made by Borske Sklo in the late 1950s to 1960s/1970s.
It’s a retro smoky mid brown colour, with round optical lens patterns… the lenses look angled and tilted.
The lenses create a lovely optical effect.
It’s mould blown and has the correct moulded base.
Very good vintage condition with a few small scratches.
As with many of these, the top rim is very fragile and susceptible.
This flat polished rim is good with just three tiny fleabites and some natural sharp areas, see photos.
Base shows the some signs of its age and era.
Some natural bubbles. Nice displayable example.
It’s a useful medium sized – 21.5cm x 14cm widest.
The rim is 12cm wide.
