A Bodum ’12-piece Bistro Set’, designed by Carsten Jorgensen, set #K1590. Vintage Danish minimalist design, made in Switzerland. Circa late 1980s vintage, this is the black colour-coded set (complete).
The set consists of: One 8-cup bistro coffee maker (French Press), four matching coffee glasses with black plastic handles and Bodum branding underneath, a glass creamer/milk jug and sugar bowl, five simple black branded designer spoons/stirrers and 7 original natural cork coasters. The designs are simple, minimalist with an 80s pop-plastic vibe.
Really good, clean and fully-functional condition. Cups, jug and sugar bowl are all cylindrical and 8.5cm tall x 7.2cm wide at the turned out lip (roughly 200ml). Cork mats are 8cm wide (the one for the cafetière is larger). Plastic spoons are 14cm long. The cafetière serves eight (roughly 1 litre) and is 20cm tall max x 9cm wide cylinder.

They are all easy to clean through the dishwasher (cups come apart) and the heat-proof glass is hardwearing and durable. Box is very tatty and aged.
