A lovely art pottery/ceramic vase by Burleigh Ware, England.
Dating from the 1950s mid century it’s in a Greek/Egyptian style.
It depicts a stylised lion in black print to one side.
Satin black on white glazes with vivid red glossy inner.
Nice stylised rounded oval shape.
18.5cm tall x 3.5cm rim x 6.5cm base.
Stamped to base, looks to be model number 161.
Very good with no chips.
Natural fine crazing all over if you look closely.
Some wear to the print.
