Description
A large and handmade (from one piece of wood) teak modernist fruit bowl.
I would assume this is mid century (1960s/1970s) and Scandinavian, but without a maker’s mark there’s no way of telling.
It does have some age to it and is high quality and stylish.
A deep reddy hardwood with a lovely grain.
Unknown age and maker, unsigned.
Lovely simple shape – straight sides flaring out then in again, rounded inner.
Suited as a fruit bowl, in with mid century modern decor.
24cm widest (23cm outer rim) x 10cm tall.
Please see all pics.
Very good vintage condition with a few small signs of its age, mostly to the rim.
Recently re-oiled with food-safe Danish oil so has a natural sheen (the oil is still absorbing).
