A beautiful Evangeline Pottery black and orange ceramic horse figurine.
Evangeline were part of Canuck Pottery, Quebec, Canada… very similar to Blue Mountain Pottery.
This is circa 1960s vintage.
Orange drip glaze over black, all glossy and typical of the era and area.
No maker’s marks.
20cm tall x 16 x 6cm.
Very good condition with no signs of age and no damage.
There’s feint writing to the base, it would have been a tourist souvenir back in the 1960s.
You’ll love him – perfect for a retro orange room!
The orange is a lush pure orange.
