A lovely RICE ceramic storage jar, by Felix, Germany.
Dating from the Art Deco era, so apx 1920s-1940s pre war.
Cream glazed ceramic with green stylised decor to one side.
Blond wood prise off lid – no inner seal so it doesn’t seal.
Good for age and era.
Please check all photos, shown from all angles.
No obvious chips or crazing or cracks, though I wouldn’t store liquid in it being an old ceramic.
Some scrapes to a back bottom corner.
Age to the wood.
All good for display.
