Description
A super fun and kitsch Fratelli Fanciullacci donkey and cart figurine, which doubles up as a plant pot or pen/utensil holder.
It’s hand signed ‘PU325 Italy FF’ so undoubtedly by Fratelli Fanciullacci, Italy.
It’s an acid yellow glaze (pale yellowy lime green) with raw clay trim with sgraffito lines and glossy polkadots.
The donkey/ass has a coil mane and is stylised and simplified.
Circa 1960s mid century.
Very good considering its fragility.
A few old rim chips to the planter rim, but that looks to be all.
Plant pot holder looks to be useable, though tall and narrow.
15cm tall x 18cm wide x 9.5cm deep, bigger and much nicer made than most.
