A fabulous 1950s or 1960s basket by Fratelli Fanciullacci, Italy.
Pottery/ceramic with a matte baby pink textured (splattered/bobbled) base glaze with random white glossy lines, glossy black square lines (grid) with glossy infills of yellow, sky blue, red and lime green.
Signed on base ‘5068/A Italy’.
Each piece was hand-painted so it is unique, and any drips, skips and flaws are part of the artistic appeal.
Excellent and clean for the age and era with no chips or cracks.
