A lovely statement and tactile art glass (lead crystal) fish shaped dish.
Likely by Art Vannes, France.
No markings to be the base, but I’m pretty certain this is by Art Vannes from Vannes le Chatel.
He’s a minimalist fish bowl.
Smooth and tactile, mouth blown and handmade.
Circa 1960s mid century vintage.
The inner bowl, if used, is suited as a tealight candle holder bowl, or snack bowl.
The crystal is quality and and has a slight hint of grey.
It’s a mid sized quality piece: 19.5 x 14 x 6cm.
Very nice condition uppers and on display.
Base shows a few signs of its age and era, see photos.
Hard to photograph in these dull conditions – photos don’t do him justice. He’s lovely!
