Description
A super glossy art pottery drip-glaze vase – unsigned with an unknown maker.
Circa 1970s-1990s vintage.
Handmade, and hand decorated, possible a student piece.
Pottery/clay, in a flat oval ellipse shape.
The glaze is black with brown, green and other glossy foaming drips.
Very good with no crazing.
I’m guessing the glazes overflowed and had to be snapped off at baseline level – see baseline that looks like it had to be torn out of the kiln.
A wonky bit to the rim that was glazed over.
19cm tall x 9cm wide, 7cm max depth.
