Description
A lovely studio pottery candle holder or vase by The Haven Pottery, Somerset.
The stoneware piece has been wheel thrown and is a simple cylinder shape with narrow neck.
Glazed with dark brown and lighter speckled brown glazes.
Inner ‘shelf’ holds a pillar candle, or similar 4.5cm to 6.5cm wide candle.
Signed to the base with maker’s marks ‘HP’ along with their sticker.
1970s style but likely 1980s (before the 1 was added to phone numbers in 1995).
Great as a little vase too.
9.5cm tall x 7.5cm wide.
