Description
A super deep red (maroon) and black and white ceramic ashtray, model no 235, by Hornsea Pottery.
It dates from 1960-1961 and is the Crescent.
5″ or 12.5cm wide and round, with maroon off-centre bowl and black inlay pattern to the rim.
4cm tallest.
Very good on display.
It has crazing which is mostly visible underneath.
No chips, but a couple of really small inner rim fleabites.
Doesn’t look to be used – good vibrant maroon colour.
