Description

A huge statement shallow bowl or serving plate from the ‘Grapes’ design by Boda (later became Kosta Boda) from the 1980s. Designed by Ann Warff, it has a 3D textured grape design on the textured reverse. This Grape design was circa 1985 to 1991.

It’s roughly round, with an indented bunch of grapes on the outside, smooth inside. It has an undulating rim and is tactile and organic/natural looking. It’s a shallow and gently scooping bowl. Quality crystal-content Scandinavian glass with a good ‘ring’ and a clear bright colour. Very big and heavy!

Very good condition with no chips. A couple of small scratches.

34.5cm widest. 5cm tall.
This the centrepiece sized platter, ideal for feuit or just for a table centre.

Handmade and blown into a mould (so they vary with bubbles and seams and undulations etc).

Perfect statement piece for the dining table.
