Description

A set of four iittala dessert bowls. 1970s vintage.

Paadar design by Tapio Wirkkala, handmade in Finland.
Designed in 1970 and produced by Iittala glassworks in Finland until 1976.

High quality crystal-content bright clear moulded glass.
Flat polished rims. Designed like melting ice and icebergs.
Similar to Ultima Thule but with heavily textured vertical stepped sides and finer bobbles the base.

Good condition for age and era.
1 tiny fleabite on the rim of one.

A small double nibble on another rim, shown.
Due to the textured design it’s impossible to see if there are any other flaws.

11cm at rim, 5cm tall. Set of four.
They feel fine and fragile and have survived for 50 years.
