Description
A vintage pottery big ugly fish savings bank/money box, which i believe is by Jema, Holland.
Deep blue glaze with red liquid glazes.
Circa 1960s/1970s mid century, retro/kitsch style.
21cm long x 14cm tall x 12.5cm deep.
Very good condition.
In use and on display it looks great with no visible chips or cracks or crazing that I can see.
Please see all pics – a few small scuffs.
Each side fin has an area of white missing glaze – probably from at the time of firing.
Money slot to his head and original plastic stopper to the base (plastic is cracked and loose).
A very nice example!
