Description
A super art glass large vase by Josef Marcolin (from FM Konstglas).
Freeform mouth blown, handmade heavy solid glass vase.
It has pink bubbly streaks growing up from the base and fading upwards.
Off centre vessel with solid half and half vase.
Tactile, biomorphic. Part original sticker.
The vase is 20.3cm tall x 11cm wide x 5.5cm deepest.
Water holding bit is about 15x4cm.
Weighs a very heavy 1.75kg.
Flat polished base with signature, signed ‘Marcolin, Sweden, M51.20’
The M means it was by Josef Marcolin.
Circa late 1980s.
Very good condition.
A couple of minimal marks, one small scratch to the back. No water marks or chips or nibbles.
