A beautiful tactile Kosta Boda Snowball – Scandinavian candle holder (votive), made in Sweden.
I believe it’s 24% lead crystal.
Could be up to 45 years old, but more likely circa 1980s-1990s.
These are all different, so there are differing moulding marks, seams/lines, bubbles.
I’ve shown it from every angle so you can see all the icy undulations.
I think this is an older knobblier version without the etch signed base.
Very good condition with no noticeable flaws or chips.
Very clean with no real signs of previous use.
Apx 8cm high x 9cm wide – so the middle size available.
Heavy moulded crystal glass, weighs a hefty 800g.
Suitable for both a tealight candle and a small pillar candle (hole are apx 4.2cm wide).
