Description
A lovely opal bowl, which I believe is by Sven Palmqvist and from the Selena range for Orrefors from the 1950s.
Swedish art glass, hand signed to the base with ‘Orrefors 3070/1’.
The glass is clear opal, slightly white and opalescent, and is thick and heavy.
16.5cm wide x 8cm tall and weighs a heavy 1.8kg.
Slightly triangular, thick undulating rounded rim.
It’s in good vintage condition with no chips.
It does have a few scratches. One inside, one little rim flaw, shown, and maybe a couple of other tiny ones outside.
Some natural small bubbles within.
