A lovely Tonala, Mexico, art ceramic ornamental mushroom.
Circa 1970s vintage.
A taupe/grey coloured background with a hand painted story around the top of it: a yellow bird, some grasses and plants, a stylised rabbit and a squirrel and a tree. Beautifully painted. Quite dull colouring but you see more in the imagery the more you look at it.
Shiny glazed.
10cm tall x 12.5cm wide cap.
Signed underneath with ‘Mexico’.
Nice condition with no chips, but there is some fine crazing which shows on the photos but not to the eye.
Some bubbles and natural glazing imperfections (lumps and bumps).
