A lovely over sized vintage art glass Dala horse figurine, made by Lindshammar Glass, Sweden.
He’s handmade pressed/moulded bright clear art glass with Dala patterns and details, undoubtedly with a crystal content.
Modernist Swedish style, circa 1970s vintage.
I believe it was by Christer Sjogren (who was active at Lindshammar from 1962-2003).
This is a clear solid glass Dala horse figurine with more detail than the smaller figurines, including mane and patterns.
A very big 16.4cm tall x 16cm wide x 5cm deep.
A solid and heavy 1.7kg.
Some natural bubbles, ripples and formation lines.
Good condition.
It has a bottomline (back corner) chip, see pics.
