Description
A super Holmegaard Denmark art glass elephant figure or paperweight.
From a series of animals by Michael Bang dating from 1969 or so.
It maintains both its original stickers and is hand signed to the base (HG4 MB).
Handmade and mouth blown worked clear bright glass with a 24% lead crystal content.
Circa 1960s-1970s vintage.
Very good with no scratches and a good base.
Sharp end to his trunk and tail – I think the end of trunk is sharp from being handmade.
I think it’s missing a slither of glass to his fine tail.
12cm long x 10cm tall.
