Description
A fab little trinket box/container or ring or pill box.
Probably 1970s-1980s vintage.
No maker’s marks, probably European.
It’s rectangular panels of mother of pearl, formed into a round cylinder shape.
White metal trim, looks like silver plate.
Pearlescent finish. Nice simple shape.
Prise off lid.
3.8cm wide x 3cm tall.
A nice item in good condition. No cracks or missing splinters.
They’ve used a piece of shell with a flaw to the base, as is common.
