Circa 1970s.

Celebrating the ‘Ship of Harry Paye, Poole, 1400’.
Harry Paye was a seafarer in the 1400s. Described by many as a pilfering pirate; he policed the channel intercepting hundreds of French and Spanish ships.

Printed and hand painted/handmade platter by Poole.
A limited editon of 4950 from the Ship Plates collection.
Produced for Compton & Woodhouse.
