Description
A vintage and collectable Portsrund (Norway) small porcelain ornamental salt or pin dish.
Circa 1970s mid century – the ’71’ stamp to the reverse suggests it’s 1971.
It’s a rounded square shape fine china or porcelain dish, with a stylised blue print of a peacock – typically mid century Scandinavian. I’m unsure of the artist.
White glazed background.
Stamped to the reverse with the logo along with ‘PP’, ’71’ and ‘M.2259 D.78105’.
M2259 is the shape. D78105 is the design and colour.
The bowl is lightly curved and small, so suitable as a sauce dish, dipping sauce dish, ring dish or as an ornament.
7.2 x 7.2 x 2.5cm.
Very good condition.
Just one small rim chip.
