A lovely small posy vase by Prima Pottery (PP), Folkestone, Kent, from the 1960s or 1970s or so.
Prima Pottery was started in 1967 by Marcus (Marc) Goldberger, and continued until the 1990s.
This egg-shaped posy vase is handmade with red clay and has a speckled glaze.
It has a straight slot cut to the top – so could be used to hold other things on a table too.
Wheel thrown.
Satin glazed in tones of duck egg blue with blacker and bluer spots.
Stamped with the logos to the base, as well as signed ‘Marc’.
Apx 8 x 6.5cm.
A lovely collectable example of a little PP vase, very good condition.
