A lovely alternative Royal Wedding Anniversary collectable mug.
From 1972, it celebrates Elizabeth and Philip’s 25 year jubilee/silver anniversary.
It has a lovely retro simple form, unlike most, with a simple deep orange print over white ceramic.
The orange is a tomato or poppy deep orangy red.
It’s printed with Prince Philip’s and Elizabeth’s monograms to each side.

It’s marked to the base with a no 36 – it was probably a Staffordshire piece.
8cm tall x 7.6cm wide, cylindrical.
