Description
A fab, stylish and statement large art glass bowl/ashtray from the 1960s by Rudolf Jurnikl for Rosice Glassworks, Sklo Union.
Czech/Bohemian and dating from around 1962 (circa 1960s/1970s).
Pattern no 1045 – a curving sculptural circular shape formed from pressed/moulded coloured glass.
Mid-century modernist and retro in style.
It’s a vivid and vibrant cyan blue or turquoise colour.
This is in good condition.
Outers are good with no chips, nibbles, scrapes, just a couple of tiny dots.
Internally it was used as an ashtray so has a dullness internally.
Large and heavy – 17cm wide x 6cm high.
Weighs 1.3kg.
Great splash of colour, looks good.
