Description

A lovely Rosice Glassworks #1175 ashtray or bowl, designed in 1962 by Rudolf Jurnikl.
Vintage 1960s/1970s Czech/Bohemian pressed art glass.

The colour is an amber yellow.
The shape is flower like with 4 flat flared lobes, forming an almost flat rim.
Moulded pressed glass, heavy and solid yet tactile.

Good condition (for 50+ years old!).
A nibble to the outer rim along with a little roughness – you can just see it to the left of the 2nd phot.
Otherwise very good and clean with some good smooth edges.
Some natural small bubbles from being handmade.
Good base.

14.5cm diagonal or 13cm wide x 5cm.
A chunky 760g.
