A striking ceramic vase by Scheurich, West Germany.

Dating from the ‘fat lava’ mid century 1960s/1970s era.

The shape is Vienna, a lightbulb or beehive shape, bulbous with hooped neck.

Stamped 269-22… 22 denoting 22cm tall (well, 22.5cm).

Orange glossy glaze with applied black fat lava textured outlines of flowers.

Flowers are red with green leaves. Brown neck.

14cm widest, 8cm wide at the rim.

Stamped to the base.

Would hold a good 12+ flower stems if used.

Very good condition with no chips or crazing or cracks etc.
