A vintage ‘fat lava’ era plant pot holder by Scheurich, West Germany.
Dating from the 1960s/1970s era, this is a dark olive green and yellow glaze over sunflower/foliage decor.
Each side has a cluster of abstract retro flower motifs, with geometric rim and baseline patterns.
The glaze is glossy.
Mid Century Modern and retro in styling – perfect statement for your spider plants on your teak sideboard.
The shape is 887-13, a mid size. 12cm tall x 14cm wide at the rim.
It would fit a flower pot up to 11cm tall.
For indoor use only. Stamped to base.
Very good condition with no internal water marks.
