Description
A super studio art pottery planter or indoor plant pot holder.
It’s signed JP.
A terracotta coloured clay, wheel turned.
Glazed white with a blue/green oxide decor.
Externally it has a block of lower blue green and criss-crossed lines and dots to the upper, all over white.
Internally it’s splatter random spotted.
5 to 30 years old… a bit of an unknown.
I can’t find who JP is, could be related to Rye Pottery, or from Kent/Sussex.
It’s flared out with a rounded inner so suited to a smaller plant.
Excellent condition.
12 x 15.5cm rim. Base is 7cm.
It’s a lovely ornamental piece of unique studio pottery.
