A Danish Lazy Susan – a rotating hors-d’oeuvres or nibbles or snacks serving mechanism.
Simple Danish Modernist styling, design, quality and build.
Dating from around the 1960s or 1970s.
Quality 18/8 stainless steel.
Six shallow indented outer segments for your carrot sticks/nuts etc, with a central round section, presumably for a separate dip/sauce. Round shape tray, raised up on a low-level stand. Rotates nicely. Sturdy quality feel.
Good clean useable condition.
Some marks to the steel, mostly to the ‘inbetween’ higher bits.
Stamped to the base with the Lundtofte logo and with the old sticker (model no 3084)
The larger version of the design: 36cm wide x 5cm tall.
A mid century and retro centre-piece, good for entertaining!
