Description
A lovely art glass vase, probably soda glass.
It’s handmade, mouth blown and is a nicely made thin glass vase.
The colour is like a Whitefriars Amethyst or Caithness dark Heather.
21cm tall x 6.5cm wide simple cylinder.
Rounded rim and rippled pontil.
Unknown maker, I can’t see it in the Whitefriars or Caithness catalogues, so it could be Scandinavian.
But of that late 1960s or 1970s retro and mid century art glass era.
Simple shape with deep plum purple or aubergine colour.
Very good with no chips.
An unknown to me.
