Description
A vintage tapered art glass block vase.
These were made in Czechoslovakia and Italy so it could be from either.
Handmade, square with flat straight sides and mouth blown alexandrite neodymium content glass (pale lilac purple).
The alexandrite neodymium makes it colour changing under certain lights (turns blue).
Nicely made, unsigned, but more likely Czech and late 20th century.
14cm x 4.2cm square polished base x 2.8cm square flat rim.
Very good with no chips.
The rim has a fine scratch and an inner rim imperfection.
The body middle has a wobble/ripple – shown.
Body small fine scratch.
