Description
A lovely mid century Scandinavian style teapot.
It’s a pure glossy red enamel over metal with blond wood trim.
Nice modernist simple shape. Very much like Michael Lax’s design for Copco.
1970s/1980s vintage.
17.5cm diameter max x 19.5cm tallest x 23cm longest.
Would look fab on a shelf!
Please see all photos – it’s probably more suited to a prop on a shelf, a splash of colour in a kitchen.
Fairly clean inside, rust around the end of the spout.
Some water marks where the lid lands on the upper body.
Wood is worn and discoloured so would benefit from staining or treating.
Main body is very good for vintage enamelware.
Could be used.
