A lovely vintage Lotus Pottery (Stoke Gabriel) art pottery vase, designed by Michael and Elizabeth Skipworth. Circa 1960/1970s vintage, handmade studio pottery.
It’s a wheel thrown vase with their distinctive glazes and colours. Dark olive/sage green (virtually black) with a blue grey speckled geometric p motif… the classic ‘Sage’ colourway. It is stamped to the base with the Lotus logo within a circle. Beautiful smooth glossy glaze with dripping bubbly pattern, typically 1970s retro.
A flared shape – 13.5cm tall x almost 10cm wide.
Very good condition with no signs of age or use.
