A lovely and tactile vintage art glass egg shaped paperweight…
Circa 1970s later mid century.
Very likely from Murano, Italy – I don’t know an exact studio/maker but similar to pieces by Ferro.
Nicely made quality artisan piece.
The egg has clear core, then a layer of white opaline (solid colour) with a pattern of blue/pink lines, forming a feather-like design. The lines are a deep plum with a blue halo.
It’s a good sized solid 9.5cm tall x 6.5cm wide.
Very good condition.
