Description
A nice 925 sterling silver retro/vintage brooch dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The silver brooch is long curved feathery leaf with lines or barbs, modernist and kitsch in style. It is stamped ‘925 A*D Foreign’ which is Andreas Daub, Germany – so German origin. It does look typical of their work from the mid century.
A good sized apx 50 x 28mm, weighing 9 grams. Roll-over pin to reverse works well, it looks to be steel. Good condition, very wearable… a beautiful and elegant statement!
