Description
A striking 1970s or 1980s Waechtersbach lidded sugar bowl, from West Germany.
A hard to find design – vivid red glossy chunky ceramic or stoneware with white dots and two butterflies slightly indented/stencilled around the bowl. The pot has a subtle scalloped edge. The lid with hole for spoon is glossy white.
Excellent condition. Stamped to the base with the Waechtersbach West German logo.
Pot is 6cm tall x 9cm wide (6.3cm inner rim). 9cm tallest with lid on.
Probably more suited for a collector or as a gift. Great for display.
