A vintage Whitefriars bud vase designed by Geoffery Baxter in 1961, England.
It’s in ruby red, quality thick glass in a tapering teardrop shape, slightly oval and flattened.
Cased in clear glass.
It’s featured in the 1964 catalogue, so likely to be 1960s or early 1970s.
Model no 9571.
Flat polished base and rim.
8″ tall x 6.5cm wide x 4.5cm deep max.
Very good, apart from a small nibble on the rim – see pics.
