A lovely simple tapered chimney vase, designed by Geoffrey Baxter for British firm Whitefriars, pattern number 9655.
This one is the mid sized version, just under 8″ tall.
It’s cased in clear glass with a solid clear base.
Fairly petite – would hold up to half a dozen slim stems.
Kingfisher Blue (vivid cyan/turquoise) colourway is roughly late 1960s to late 1970s, so of that retro era.
Beautiful simple minimalist design with a softened polished rim.
19.8cm tall, 4.5cm base, 2.7cm inner rim.
Excellent condition.
A few internal stretched bubbles.
Base is smooth, not polished.
Perfect as a gift and for display.
